Our 17,000 Mile Route
We will be flying out of our hometown of New York City to London for a couple days for a couple meetings before the big trip. Then we’re off to Nairobi through Istanbul. Once we arrive in Nairobi, we have to hire a driver to get out to Ola Nagele. We’ll spend a little over a week there working with GHNI and local staff and village members. Then we go back to Nairobi and fly to Addas Ababa, with one night there and a hopper flight in a prop plane (yippee!!) the following morning to Dire Dawa. From there, we hire another driver to get us to the village of Garmaam, where we’ll spend a couple weeks. Then we fly back to Addas on the hopper flight, then to London through Istanbul.
